Coaching

Whatever arena you're performing in, the work is the same at its core.

Build awareness, quiet the noise, and act from a place of clarity instead of fear. John tailors that process to where you're competing — on the field, in the office, or in life.

All coaching is available in-person in Letterkenny, virtually, or as a hybrid of both — whichever suits you. John will travel throughout Ireland for team and business engagements. An initial consultation in person is preferred where possible.

Perform when it matters most.

Talent gets you to the big occasion. Mindset determines what happens when you're there.

John works with individual athletes and full teams — as one-off sessions or as an ongoing member of a coaching staff for a season — to help identify what's really driving performance anxiety and build practical strategies to move through it, not around it.

Who this is for

Ambitious young athletes, county and club teams, and individual competitors across sports — GAA, soccer, motorsport, golf, and more.

What it looks like

An initial session exploring goals and expectations, followed by client-led sessions where John facilitates the space for athletes to work through what's really going on — building the self-awareness that turns into consistent performance under pressure.

Build a culture that performs.

Great leadership isn't about having all the answers — it's about clarity, self-awareness, and the ability to bring out the best in the people around you.

John works with business leaders and management teams to sharpen decision-making, build championship team cultures, and develop the mental clarity high performance in business demands. He also offers dedicated business interview coaching for those preparing for high-stakes career moments.

Who this is for

Driven business professionals and management teams who want to lead with more clarity and build stronger team cultures.

What it looks like

A goal-setting first session, followed by client-led conversations where John creates the space for you to think clearly about what's really in the way — and what to do about it.

Get out of your own way.

Most of us carry a story about what's wrong with us. John's coaching starts from the opposite place: you're not broken, and you don't need fixing.

Through one-on-one coaching grounded in mindfulness and positive psychology, John helps individuals build the self-awareness to recognise unhelpful patterns in thinking and behaviour — and take the kind of action that moves them toward the life they actually want.

Who this is for

Anyone ready to think more clearly, break old patterns, and move forward with intention.

What it looks like

An initial conversation about where you are and where you want to be, followed by sessions led by you — with John facilitating the space for you to have an honest conversation with yourself.
